Dementia sessions

Encouraging active participation and including performances of songs through the ages.

“These guys were absolutely amazing at picking up the spirits in our elderly residents. By the end of the session they were all either singing or up dancing! Music really is therapy when combined with the right people and energy!”

Anna-Marie Burnett – care worker at Clifton Lodge elderly care home

Stimulating neurological activity with music

TIMEʼs dementia programme consists of live music performance of genres spanning across the decades, but also encourages attendeeʼs to physically participate in collaboration with our instructors. Musical exercises are conducted to stimulate the mind, with focus on listening, responsiveness and fine motor skill usage. Our instructors are available to take musical requests in advance of sessions, so that we are able to perform particular songs of relevance and interest to each environment we attend.
